Vitamins & Supplements |

Jerry started taking vitamins and supplements regularly in 1970, at the age of 28. He was working at Texas Instruments Incorporated at the time. Writing code all day long behind a desk led to an early spare tire. One day he woke up and started a regular exercise program. He also decided to take extra vitamins to help with the extra wear and tear on the ol' bod. The vitamins and supplements really helped. he was so pleased with the results that he bought several books on nutrition to learn more. He's never stopped learning about nutrition, vitamins, minerals, and supplements. Today he enjoys good health, and a lot of the credit goes to the vitamins & supplements he takes every day. Good health comes at a price. Healthcare supplements are not free. Anyone who purchases any of the vitamins, minerals or supplements they take at a retail store knows they are downright expensive. |
Almost a year ago,
after buying everything at local retail stores for over 30 years, Jerry decided to check out
prices on the Internet. Here's what he found:
Many on-line stores sell the same brand-name products Jerry uses, at a much lower cost. Savings of 25% are common. But after spending several days searching all the websites he could find, he was able to cut costs anywhere from 40% to 55%. Furthermore, the best sites ship his order within 24 hours and charge next to nothing for shipping. As with anything else, you have to shop around. The on-line store that sells chelated Vitamin C at the best price may not offer the best pricing on Arginine tabs, for example. In the listing of the vitamins and supplements Jerry takes, he shows the prices he's found at several on-line stores, and then supplies a link to the store with the lowest price (figuring in added charges like handling and shipping). |
