When I walked into the Eye Associates main entrance, I was immediately struck by the vast array of services provided by this facility. The architecture of the interior allows you to see all the way through the building, from the front lobby, past the reception desk, into the eye examination area and beyond to an expansive eyeglass selection and fitting room. The impression one gets is that Eye Associates can handle just about any kind of eye problem you might have. Apparently, that impression is correct. According to Nancy, who greeted me at the reception desk, Eye Associates provides LASIK, No-Stitch Cataract Surgery, Corneal Transplantation, Glaucoma Treatment, and at least five additional services for eye patients at this location. They even offer complete eye examinations, including refractions for glasses and contact lenses. Eye Associates is next the Round Rock Medical Center, fronting directly on RM. 620. That makes it easy to find, and its ample parking area makes it easy to visit. |
Nancy used to work at the Round Rock Medical Center, when it was still called Round Rock Hospital. She was in the radiology department, but, in those days, you did what was necessary when things got busy (as they often did). I told her of my many visits to the Emergency Room, assisting with the crash crews after arriving with a patient from Jollyville.
